Where do you think
this 100+year old attraction is?

We prefer our
students to attend one of our centres available in many countries. You will
then get the personal attention and be able to meet other students. However,
that is not always possible and an excellent alternative will be to take the
course directly with ATHE or one of our approved centres using online resource.
Some of the advantages of this type of learning is -
What will happen:
As soon as you have received your course and username/password you
can start your online studies. There are no time limits to complete the course.
You will be able to look at typical questions so that you can have an idea of
the level required.
Your tutor whether at a center or online will continually guide
you through the course. You will need to complete the whole course to obtain an
ASET Diploma. However if for some reason you are unable to do so, you will
get an ATHE certificate for any succesfully completed module.
Delivery of course:
The delivery of the course will be subject to facilities and
teachers available at the centre but normally we would expect the mandatory
units to be completed first. That is not essential however and you can take any
optional unit after completion of the first unit, again subject to centre
approval.
The Advanced International Diploma in Travel and Tourism is
assessed by means of a written examination. At present dates of examination is flexible but from September, due to the
increasing number of students we will select four dates throughout the year
that the examination can be taken. If a student is taking the course by
distance learning and there is no local centre, then we will make arrangements with
the British Council or other educational institution in that area.
All ATHE learning
resources are online which the student can access as and when required. Most of
our centres also have a library of resources for students either to browse
through or use as references.
When you enrol a personal tutor will be
assigned to you. Your tutor will be with you throughout your course. They will
correct your assignments and give you any helpful advice on the way to
achieving your education goals. Any time you have difficulty with a section of
your course, you can contact your tutor. The tutors are all experienced in
travel and tourism and are eager to pass on their knowledge. You can be
confident during your studies that there is someone to help you at all times.
What next?
If you decide to take
this course at one of our centres, you will need to discuss fees with that
centre. If you do this a registration fee of £140 will be payable to ATHE.
If you decide to take
the course by distance learning
The fee for the course is £380
You have two payment
options available:
A single payment of
£380.00 by cheque, postal order or online
Monthly Payment Plan.
Make a deposit of £100.00 and 5 monthly installments of £60.00 by standing
order. There are NO INTEREST CHARGES, just a small charge for administration.
All course fees
include access to your Tutor via telephone or email.
The course fee includes
the online resource bank covering ALL the course.
