How Do I Become a
Certified Hotel Professional?
To qualify, you must meet the following:
Have completed an equivalent course in Hospitality
Management or Tourism from an approved institution
Or have completed
the Certified Hotel Professional (CHP) Program offered by ATHE authorized
providers
Have passed the
CHP Examination which is a choice of 5 questions from 12 to be completed online or in a classroom. Each answer will be approximately 500 words.

You will gain eligibility to receive Certificate in Travel and Tourism
to be issued by ATHE, a national awarding body specializing in providing assuring
vocational programs recognized by skills and education authorities in the
United Kingdom.

Certified Hotel
Profesional Program Plan A Must have a degree in
Hospitality Management or Tourism from an approved institution Or Must have
completed a Hospitality or Tourism program offered by ATHE Must have passed the certification exam Plan B Must have at least three
years professional experience in Hospitality industry. Must be currently
employed full time or part time as a hospitality or tourism educator. If applicant has less
than three years experience, but is currently employed, applicant needs to pass
certification exam. The CHP program syllabus is How are students assessed: The student will undertake a
short course online which will then be forwarded and marked either by the centre or Geoprojects
directly. How will students learn: The students will be
provided with a username and password to enter the site where they will be
guided to the specific course. What is the cost: The cost for one unit course
is £75.00 with nothing else to pay. You can register by completing the enrolment form by clicking the link at the top of this page. You can also purchase using our online shop. What happens at the end: Once the student has
completed the course successfully they will be provided with a certificate from ATHE so the course will carry some weight. How does the student apply:
As there are no entry requirements the student can simply purchase the course
online and we will contact the student within a day or so with instructions as
