Explain how sales promotion is used to promote products and services in an industry you have studied.

 

Identify and evaluate two external influences when promoting a specific product.

Identify and analyse three marketing objectives when planning a promotional campaign.

 

Explain the part market research has in the selling of products and services.

 

 

Evaluate, using examples two advantages and two disadvantages of both primary research and secondary research.

Explain two internal and two external sources of information to a business when planning a marketing campaign.

To qualify, you must meet the following:

Have completed an equivalent course in Marketing from an approved institution

Or have completed the Certified Marketing Executive (CME) Program offered by ATHE authorized providers

Have passed the CME Examination which is a choice of 5 questions from 12 to be completed online or in a classroom. Each answer will be approximately 500 words.

How are students assessed:

The student will undertake a short course online which will then be forwarded and marked  either by the centre or ATHE directly.

How will students learn:

The students will be provided with a username and password to enter the site where they will be guided to the specific course.

What is the cost:

The cost for one unit course is £75.00 with nothing else to pay. You can register by completing the enrolment form by clicking the link at the top of this page.

What happens at the end:

Once the student has completed the course successfully they will be provided with a certificate from ASET so the course will carry some weight.

How does the student apply: As there are no entry requirements the student can simply purchase the course online and we will contact the student within a day or so with instructions as to how to proceed.
