This course is

Business
Travel is among the growth sectors of the travel and tourism industry with more and more jobs on offer. Covering a
wide range of occupations in different organisations - many of them overlapping
they offer the opportunity of an interesting career with many opportunities to
progress. The Association of Tourism and Hospitality Executives provide the

Certified Development Programme
This is a programme of short courses that has two objectives,
firstly to provide an introduction to a sector of the industry and secondly to
give a person a qualification. The first of these was the Certified Hotel
Professional CHP), the second is Certified Tourism Professional (CTP).
Certified Business Travel Professional is the third. Certified Marketing
Executive will also shortly be available.

What is Certified Business Travel Professional?
The Certified Business Travel Professional designation represents someone who
has achieved competence in business travel skills required to add value, drive
business performance, and build quality practices within organizations. The
CBTP credential indicates a commitment to excellence based on a strong, ethical
foundation and dedication to lifelong learning.
Who is it suitable for?
We have recognised at least two groups of
potential students.
The first ones are those that are starting
working in the industry without any recognised qualifications but are keen to
learn and have knowledge of the industry.
The second group are those who have already
taken courses elsewhere, often in non UK countries but are keen to obtain a UK
accredited qualification. In this instance the course that the student has
taken can be mapped against CBTP.

How do I achieve a Certified Business Travel Professional certificate?
To qualify, you must meet the following:
Have completed a Level 3 course in
Travel or Tourism from an approved institution
Or have completed the Certified Business Travel Professional Program
offered by ATHE authorized providers

You can use the qualification to go forward and take a certificate or diploma
in International Travel and Tourism.

How are students assessed:
The student will undertake a short multi choice course online
which will then be forwarded and marked either by the centre or ATHE directly.
How will students learn:
The students will be provided with a username and password to
enter the site where they will be guided to the specific course.
What is the cost:
The cost for the course is £75.00 including certification..
What happens at the end:
Once the student has completed the course successfully they will
be provided with a certificate from ATHE.
How does the student apply: As there are no entry requirements the
student can simply purchase the course online and we will contact the student
