This is a short course ideal for those who are just about to enter the industry or just started. It will give you background information on travel and tourism in general and also you can select part of the course that you are most interested. At the end of the course you will get a certificate from the Association of Tourism and Hospitality Executives. If you decide to go forward to take the International Diploma in Travel and Tourism, you will get full credit for the three units taken in this course.

The International Diploma is equivalent to a first year of an honours degree at Anglia Ruskin University.

Likely career prospects

We have recognised at least two groups of potential students.

The first ones are those that are starting working in the industry without any recognised qualifications but are keen to learn and have knowledge of the industry.

The second group are those who have already taken courses elsewhere, often in non UK countries but are keen to obtain a UK accredited qualification.

Qualification
The Certified Tourism Professional designation represents someone who has achieved competence in tourism skills required to add value, drive business performance, and build quality practices within organizations. The CTP credential indicates a commitment to excellence based on a strong, ethical foundation and dedication to lifelong learning. You can use the qualification to go forward and take a certificate or diploma in International Travel and Tourism.

		How you are assessed
		The student will undertake a short examination online which will then be forwarded and marked either by the centre or ATHE directly.

Cost

The cost of this course is £115.00. We will be in touch within 24 hours apart from weekends.

The course fee includes the online resource bank covering ALL the course plus CD and of course full tutor support.
