New Nepalese Centre

ATHE get everywhere these days, there are even students taking our courses in Kathmandu, Nepal.
The picture opposite shows our Chief Executive Arthur Jones with two International Diploma students, Sarina and Rabindra who will become tutors on completion of their courses at the Himalaya Academy of Travel and Tourism.
H.A.T.T will shortly move into new premises which were shown to Arthur during his visit.

ATHE Resources

As from October the twelfth our resources will be updated, not only by our experienced team at ATHE head office, but also by our various academies around the world.

Each update, (or whole unit) will be sent to head office and reviewed to ensure it meets standards and then uploaded into the online archives.

Dedication to updating the prestigious ATHE resource material can result in discounted rates on our courses.

	Accredited by NCFE
	We are delighted to have become an NCFE centre as from this month. NCFE are one of the most established awarding bodies in the UK being 150 years old. During the Summer we will be consolidating our arrangement with NCFE by adding courses and major accreditations. We are also making it easier for our many customers overseas by introducing a credit/debit card payment system. ATHE is already an ASET centre.

		We are now able to offer membership of ATHE, just check on the links. Membership can be offered at student, member and fellowship level. There are a number of benefits and full members will be able to access the resources library. Any member who has previously joined will not have a renewal until September 2009. Romanian Charity

Orphanage

One of our directors has taken a close interest in Little Johns House, an Orphange for Children with Special needs in Romania.

Situated on the edge of the Transilvanian Alps they also provide day care for many disabled children from local towns and villages.
All 3 ATHE directors will be visiting the orphange at christmas.

We have just introduced our Postgraduate Diploma in Tourism Management. This course will be assessed by means of a project. If you are interested in this course do email us for further information. In the meantime we have already registered our first candidates in London. This course is in the accreditation process by a major UK awarding body. It will be available at selected centres and also by distance learning directly from ATHE. Full tutorial facilities are available.		During the next few weeks we will be adding several new courses including Certificate for Resort Representative, Certificate in Tour Management and a Level 3 Certificate in Airport Operations. We are now working on the resources for these courses. More information to follow but if you want to keep up to date just subscribe to our newsletter.

The Yamuna

Flowing all the way from Yamunotri home of the Godess Yamuna in the Himalayas
the river, also named Yamuna, is the largest to feed into the mighty Ganges.
Running right past the Taj Mahal in Agra it providing imense reflections of the magnificent indian building.
