Potential Jobs
Students completing this course will usually work in Management or Administrative roles managing staff
in a variety of different scenarios from small to large businesses.
Assessment
This course is assessed by means of an exam which is held three times a year as well as internal unit tasks. The three hour examination will be held at the centre if there are sufficient students. Papers will be marked at the centre and externally moderated by ATHE. All students are tested internally on each unit at the centre. Suggested tasks for this will be provided on the Course Delivery Guidance notes. These will be marked internally and moderated by ATHE. Weighting will be 70% for Unit assignments and 30% for exam. If a students' mark for an exam question will be less than the pass mark, this will then be averaged with the unit test. If both are below a pass, the question or/and assignment will need to be re done.
Delivery of the course
The course is taught at ATHE accredited centres worldwide. It will have three starts, September, January and June with some flexibility for centres. Length of course is 9 months. Again there will be some flexibility but cannot be less than 6 months.
Students will need to take the four mandatory units and any four of the compulsory units for Level 5.
For the Diploma, (level 4) only two optional units must be taken
For the Certificate, (level 3) all mandatory units must be taken.
